You can ask that your topic be closed if you want. That will not remove it but stop any more entries and it will fall to oblivion in not to long a time.

Any moderator or some have said they used the report button. Even if you do nothing it will fall off shortly.

But why do you want to? Even if the question you asked has been answered, the discussion may help someone else. Even if you now think the question you asked was stupid, the discussion may help someone else.

If you want to delete something you've posted (like maybe saying something you later wish you hadn't), you can edit the post, and remove the unwanted content. The post will still be there, so people will know you said something. If you want the thread closed, just post a comment saying so. A moderator will see your comment, and most likely lock the thread.

To get more replies, put more than "How do I....?" in your title. Most times I don't even look at threads like that. I'd bet lots of others don't either.
