+adgorn
I receive two (duplicate) emails whenever someone visits my waymarks. Why is that? Quote Link to comment
+MountainWoods
You have people visit your Waymarks?!? OK. I've had some visits, and sometimes I get duplicate emails from a single visit. Perhaps it's to make up for the lack of visits; you get more emails instead. Just a glitch. There are a few. You have people visit your Waymarks?!? OK. +The A-Team
I can't recall ever receiving duplicate emails for visits to my Waymarks. My thought is that due to the (well-known) slowness of the site, the visitor may just be impatient and clicking submit a couple of times. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
As a category officer I've had duplicate emails for Waymark submissions over the last few days. Wonder if there's a hiccup somewhere? Quote Link to comment

One of mine had two visits in the last few weeks, one finder even uploaded a photo of the waymark. The other visit, my waymark just showed up in the background of their photo. Now that's cheesey ain't it? I do recall the duplicate emails, but my waymarks seldom ever get any visits, cheesey ones or not. Quote Link to comment
+fi67
I received about ten visits in the last week, none of them were duplicates, and I do not remember ever having received a duplicate visit mail. Posted waymarks are sometimes notified twice. That's usually when the poster notices a mistake and cancels the first submission to correct it. So it is not really a duplicate, but happens quite often. But there is one occasion where always duplicate emails are sent: Officer promotions, one in plain text and the same in HTML. +MountainWoods
It must be an "temporary" glitch in the Waymarking email system. Or your computer is seeing double.
