68-eldo
Do I have to be a premium member to upload photos of BMs No, no one can upload pictures to this forum. All pictures must be posted on another web site and then you link to that site. You can upload a picture to the Geocaching site or photo bucket or any other web site. Quote Link to comment

My apologies, I was referring to uploading BM photos to geocache.com. Edited May 17, 2014 by Team rubberboots Quote Link to comment
Bill93
You have to be logged in, but do not have to be a premium member. After you have entered your log (Found, NF, or Note) then you can add pictures. Quote Link to comment

I have logged in, I am a basic member, I've watched the "upload how-to video" I do not have "log my visit" option on the geocache page Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Upper right corner, under Navigation. First option is Log This Benchmark. (Was that always there? I don't remember that...) Quote Link to comment
+Team rubberboots
This is why I'm asking if a premium member unlocks other features on the web page Quote Link to comment
+2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
If you just want to upload a picture to use in the forums you can go to your profile page and then go to your account page and click on change your profile picture. Select upload a new picture. You can then link to that picture to have it show in the forums. If you wish to post the picture in a benchmark log, you will need to first log the benchmark (this only works for NGS listed benchmarks.) and then click on the icon to upload the picture. It is recommended that the pictured be re-sized to 800 - 1000 pixels wide and sized to about 250KB to 300KB, so as to not slow down the forum pages. John Quote Link to comment
+Team rubberboots
Is a Canadian able to upload Canadian benchmarks? Quote Link to comment
kayakbird
Is a Canadian able to upload Canadian benchmarks? Yes, if you can find one of the very few that have a NGS PID. I think that there has been discussion here about Waymarking Canadian marks. kayakbird Quote Link to comment
+Team rubberboots
I've uploaded a Canadian benchmark at Waymarking.com which is associated with Groundspeak, however, I can not import my BM to geocaching since it is Canadian. Will Groundspeak and geocaching update their sites and apps to perform this function Quote Link to comment

Will Groundspeak and geocaching update their sites and apps to perform this function I don't think so. It does not seem likely that Groundspeak will even update their snapshot of the NGS database, which dates to 2000. Quote Link to comment
