T-eco
Whenever I am on the geocaching.com website and decide to have a look at the geocaching map on my iPad, the touchscreen does not function correctly with the map. I am unable to select the geocaches that I see on the map. I am not able to use the geocaching map at all whenever I am on my iPad or any other touch screen device. I have a suspicion that this is a bug in the code. Let me know, Teco Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
This is a well known problem. I can occasionally get it to work on my S4 but never on the iPad.vey annoying. Other geocaching apps work fine. Edited February 24, 2014 by Walts Hunting Quote Link to comment
+JesandTodd
I get it to work just fine. And by just fine I mean, I have to tap the darn GC icon about a billion times, and inevitably I tap it away after it finally comes up. It's frustrating, to say the least. And I can't even see the maps on my iPhone 5s!! Seriously, the maps suck for mobile use. This is why I rarely use GC.com for my planning. I'll look at the maps to see an area of interest, but do the majority of my panning on my iPad or iPhone itself... Quote Link to comment
Blue Square Thing
I find zooming in quite a way helps a bit - it's still picky but less so. That's using Chrome on an iPad with the latest iOS btw - not sure how effective Safari is. Quote Link to comment

Kind of frustrating but makes me laugh to. Quote Link to comment

+Walts Hunting
Just so you know they don't discriminate it doesn't work on my S4 either. It the only website where this occurs. It is strange. Must be something about how they overlay things. They have known about it so long that people have generally stopped mentioning it. Quote Link to comment
+TheHarleyRebel
Well known problem and no fix. Quote Link to comment
+famalupa
I have the same problem, but not with an Ipad. I can't do it with my PC an IE. Quote Link to comment

+JesandTodd
Well, sometimes when I look online at work on our archaic windows computers, I can't click the dang cache either. Worse with google maps than leaflet. THIS is why I generally use my iPhone/iPad app when searching out caches. Quote Link to comment
+MtnMutt-ProDuckShins
Are you using a Stylus or Finger on your screen? I use a Stylus and have no problems, even when on a Cache Machine or out on the trail. I will admit that a Stylus will wear out and the touch will get harder, so I replace Stylus. Your settings can be adjusted slightly within accessibility, but you may have noticed the change more since IOS7. Apple is aware and working a fix. To clarify I use iPad 3 LTE, since you did not mention which version you use. Just be patience. Quote Link to comment
+JesandTodd
I use an iPhone 5s, iPad HD and iPad air. I've had this problem on my iPhone 4 and 4s as well. I don't have a stylus. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Got an update on my iPad the other day and now the map responds. One touch brings up the info on the cache. Quote Link to comment
+Tassie_Boy
Same issue on PC using Chrome, tried different zoom levels and may or may not work, one cache may work and the one next to it wont. And no not a touch screen, just a normal laptop. Quote Link to comment
