Tools of the Trade?

Wanders but not Lost

Hello everyone!

I'm curious as to what the experienced catchers would consider good geocaching tools to have in my toolkit? Besides a GPS and pencil of course!

I have a flashlight, tweezers and mirror. Any other times to consider?

Happy Caching!

Pen and sharpie. First aid kit (in car)bandages, handwipes, sanitizer(in my bag),aircraft table(from luggage tags) "reaching stick" when | know I'll need it. Micro log roller. Leatherman Surge.

Spare logsheets. Muggle cards. UV light. Flashlight. Water.

All I carry is a flashlight, long needle nose tweezers and an extendable 32" hook. I've used other things, but not often enough to bother carrying them unless something tips me off that I'll need them.

A couple of my friends carry brightly coloured flagging tape. A little bit tied to a tree close to the cache prevents unnecessary trampling of vegetation. Not for all hides, just those that don't abide by caching etiquette/rules--caches that are placed too far off the trail.
