+Ratone
I am enjoying a brand new eTrex 20 unit and am really, really happy with it. I am so happy that that there is just one thing I would like to change, that is...the pink line that points to the destination when navigating in the map view (don't know the exact name of this line, could be goto line, bearing line or whatever line, but I am sure that pink line is enough to describe it). I recall and still know how to change it in eTrex HCx series, though I could not find it in this new model. Anyone sharing this problem or knowing how to fix this? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

+HHL
setup>tracks>color> HTH #fail The OP wants to change the bearing/goto line. Short answer: It's impossible to change the goto line colour. Frohes Jagen Hans Quote Link to comment
+Davequal
OK I stand corrected. You can not change the color of that line. Quote Link to comment
+Ratone
Thanks. I have just upgrade firmware, let's see if this has been fixed. Quote Link to comment
+Redwoods Mtn Biker
No, you still won't be able to and I don't expect Garmin to change this in the future. Quote Link to comment
+Davequal
OK then let me ask this. If you follow this path (setup>tracks>color>) on a 20 and I am guessing a 30 as well, what do those color lines change ? Quote Link to comment
jholly
OK then let me ask this. If you follow this path (setup>tracks>color>) on a 20 and I am guessing a 30 as well, what do those color lines change ? What color lines? The goto navigation line or the track lines? On my 76CSx that changes the color of the *track* lines. I suspect that is one thing that is the same between the units. Quote Link to comment
+ngrrfan
OK then let me ask this. If you follow this path (setup>tracks>color>) on a 20 and I am guessing a 30 as well, what do those color lines change ? That changes the color of the bread-crumb trails so you can see where you went and backtrack to get out. Quote Link to comment

I really hate that pink line, not for the color itself but for being indistinguishable. Quote Link to comment
xyzee
Try this as a sub for the Go To line. On the Map Page select Menu>Measure Distance then I use the Rocker on a 60, to move the white arrow to the destination on the map. The narrow dotted line covers up less stuff and sometimes easier to follow. Quote Link to comment
+Ratone
It's a good workaround, not really useful for intenive GCing though... Quote Link to comment
