jholly
So how did you get logged in without a password? Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
To my knowledge, YOU cannot change it -- only the good folks at Groundspeak can. I believe you need to email them about it. Find them at: http://www.Groundspeak.com/default.aspx Quote Link to comment

+TomToad
Is the email in your account correct? You can always log out, then when you try logging back in, click the link that says "Forgot your password?" You then type in your screen name and your password is emailed to you. Quote Link to comment

I've not entered my password for the forums since the last big update. Yes, same here. I was at my brother's house trying to log into geocaching.com and I couldn't remember my password. I called home to ask my wife to retrieve it from my desk. At home, I use Google Chrome which fills in the info automatically when logging on. Two things...I'm getting old (can't remember) and getting lazy (autofill). Aren't all functions on a computer just a click of the mouse.......? Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Yeah, I've got myself set up for auto-login, too, now. All that typing I had to do before wore me out. LOL, I'm getting lazier all the time, and have got most of the sites I visit as "yes, please remember my password, cuz I'm getting tired of doing it." If it is auto-login, then he should be able to log in again and change the password. Without any further contact from the OP, we're all just guessing about the situation, though. +TomToad
If it is auto-login, then he should be able to log in again and change the password. Not if you don't remember your password. When you try to change it, it will ask you for your old password, and your new password twice. Go ahead and try it, and you will see it cannot be changed without typing your old password, even if you are already logged in. The easiest way to get your old password would be to log out, then click on the "forgot my password" link when you try to re-log on. But if the email listed on the site is no longer valid (and you can't change that without knowing your old passwords either) then the only other option is contact@Groundspeak.com Quote Link to comment
+BCandMsKitty
well, if it's auto login using firefox, you can see all your passwords if you want. Options/security/saved passwords, and select "show passwords" Shows all your saved passwords. Something to remember if you use auto login for banking, etc! Quote Link to comment
