+akacake
My Garmin Colorado 300 hangs on the startup page and I have tried the obvious and nothing works to get it started. It is 3 years old so the warranty is done, where can I get it fixed? I have purchased a new Oregon so if I can't fix it, will sell it for parts if there is even a market for that? I just hate to have to throw it away! I still have the box and everything for it, I loved that GPS! Kelly Quote Link to comment
+splashy
It might be just a corrupted gpx file ***, or try taking out the SD card. *** current or temp both gpx, can be deleted, You might lose last tripdata doing so. Else try http://garmincolorado.wikispaces.com/Miscellaneous M12 Quote Link to comment
+KBfamily
When this happened to me, I called Garmin and they talked me through a number of things and emailed be a link to something (can't remember what)....my point is, don't get rid of it until you have given them the chance to check it out for you...it costs nothing to ask them for help. +Highland Horde
yup...what they said... i cant remember if it was with my etrex or my dakota but one of them wouldn't turn on. I called garmin and they had me up and running in no time. Quote Link to comment
+eusty
I've only had this happen with a dodgy GPX file, once deleted it booted OK. Try the things on the page Splashy mentioned, if not then give Garmin a ring Quote Link to comment
