Hunter275
I am repainting my room and am planning on painting the coordinates of my room above my bed. Have any of you done anything like this or anything cool with coords? Quote Link to comment
+Semper Questio
I once knew a guy that put his office coordinates on his business card along with his address. Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
No, never thought to do that - I've never had any difficulty remembering where my room is. (Well, not since I was very much younger and went out to a party with friends to celebrate another friend's 21st birthday... A GPS might have been helpful to us that night.) I hope you're painting it in the Geocaching.com log colours, just to continue the 'theme'? MrsB Quote Link to comment
+Too Tall John
We have a doormat with our home coords on it. It was a gift from a friend I helped introduce to caching. Quote Link to comment
+uxorious
For my 60th birthday, my Brother and Sister-in-law gave me a box with several small envelopes in it. Each envelope contained the coordinates for some spot that I may have trouble finding as I get older. One for the bathroom, one for the coffee pot, another for where my car sits in the driveway, etc. (There must have been ten or more at least. ) Inside each envelope was some small trinket that went with the area the coordinates took me. For example, the bathroom envelope had a light you tape to the inside of the toilet seat, to help your aim on those late night visits. That took a lot of imagination on their part, and was good for a lot of laughs. Quote Link to comment
+Manville Possum
What about actress Angelina Jolie's coordinates tattoos on her left arm? They say they are the coords to where her children were born, and the most recent added one was to Brad Pitts birth place. Quote Link to comment
+Kabuthunk
I once knew a guy that put his office coordinates on his business card along with his address. On my wedding invitations, I put the coordinates to both the church and the reception hall Quote Link to comment
+GeoGeeBee
It's not exactly my "room," but over the desk where my amateur radio setup lives I have a card with the station's coordinates in several different formats. It also has my CQ and ITU zones, and my Grid Square. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Paint a rendition of the globe (your hemisphere). Plant a red flag at your home coords (waymark), then paint in the coordinates. I can see this huge mural now.......... Quote Link to comment
