My ques: Is it possible to just find and log it and leave everything inside untouched or do I have to change something? Is it "unpolite" just to find and log? +FolsomNatural Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 It's not impolite at all. Many people just log in and write TNLN, which means Took nothing, left nothing. It's pretty common. Many caches, the micros and nanos are too small to hold anything, anyway. Enjoy! Quote Link to comment

Consider bringing a small item around your house that you could use for trade. Forevermore, you can swap something on-for-one in any cache you'd like to, with no additional investment. It's entirely optional, but gives you a little more to say in the log. You may one day see an item you'd like, in a cache. So it's good to have something with you to trade. Just in case. If and only if you know that I will be the next visitor to the cache. Sign the log book and write a nice online log - have fun at it. Thats all you need to do. Quote Link to comment

No need to trade, if you wanted to leave something, but not take anything, you can do that. I would concentrate on finding for now - and having fun while you do it too! Quote Link to comment

Keep in mind that it is also an opportunity to share your experience with your fellow cachers. You do whatever is comfortable for you.
