Cheznous
I want to buy some travel bugs and set up their own websites thru geocaching.com. The online store offers the traditional travelbug tags, and the cute cachekinz with different animals depicted on the tags. Do they work exactly the same, or do I need to buy the traditional tags to have more features? If anyone can respond quickly I would really appreciate it! Quote Link to comment
+Crowesfeat30
They all work the same way. Geocoins and Cachekins are just prettier. CF30 Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
They work exactly the same way. The only difference is that the cachekinz have different icons from the standard travel bug. MrsB Quote Link to comment

+aka Momster
An advantage with purchasing a TB is that you also receive a copy tag, which is a second TB tag with the same number. When a cachekinz or geocoin goes missing while traveling, that is generally the end of the journey for that trackable. But a TB's life can be given a second round by releasing the copy tag after the first goes missing. Sometimes I will even purchase two of the items I attach to the original tag, so the rereleased TB will look the same as the first. Quote Link to comment
+hikingirl3
Travel bug tags have a better explanation of what to do with them printed on the tag. I attach my own tag with directions when I use one of the prettier tags. Quote Link to comment
