+The_Street_Searchers
Hi everyone Is there any way of reading field notes on the Oregon 300 unit? I dont have the data cable with me at work and would like to read the notes i posted for a couple of caches I found yesterday. Thanks! Chris T_S_S Quote Link to comment
+Madproforg
There isn't a way to read the file directly on the Oregon. As the file is on internal memory not even placing the micro sd card in a phone would do the trick. Quote Link to comment
+paulbarratt
I'm pretty sure you can't view or even edit field notes until you plug it in. You can only keep adding them. Maybe you should suggest it to Garmin. It shouldn't be too much trouble for them to insert a field notes program. Quote Link to comment

+dfx
on the other hand, there's nothing special about the data cable. any standard mini-USB cable will do the trick. Quote Link to comment

Very true, I use one from an old mobile phone at work and the original at home. It saves taking one with me as im sure to leave it at the wrong place to where I need it next. Quote Link to comment

So long as work allow you to plug things in! Quote Link to comment
