These go out to everybody that's posted a "Will Attend", whether they have the event on watch or not. Is it because it goes to everyone who has placed a "Will attend log"? Possibly, which means if you edit a mistake, not everyone who gets the notification will know that you have made a change. So mistakes would need to be corrected with a second notification. Just my thoughts on why. Quote Link to comment

The feature was no longer listed. I know I used it a few times after it was archived so I know it's not that. Quote Link to comment

Once the listing is archived its no longer available.
