+Kalkendotters Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 The page: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/history.aspx seems to be stuck; on top of the list is 6/18/2010 needaxeo found [Traditional Cache] Leighton-Linslade Trail - Linslade Wood 4 Eastern England, United Kingdom Or has no-one logged a cache ;-)
OpinioNate Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Today is the 18th of June, 2010. Looks ok to me. What makes you say that?
+Kalkendotters Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Today is the 18th of June, 2010. Looks ok to me. What makes you say that? Because NOW, 10 minutes later, the same log is STILL on top. (The timestamp at the bottom of the page, DOES get updated)
+vbpad Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 looks like in those ten minutes believe it or not nobody logged a cache.
+Kalkendotters Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Thanks for the gentle nudge to the hamsters. It is updating again. (BTW it was locked for more than an hour)
OpinioNate Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 It doesn't update in real time. I guess the delay is set at about 20 minutes so that the db is not getting hit so often.

+dfx Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 who would've thought that anyone actually looked at that page
+Chrysalides Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 who would've thought that anyone actually looked at that page My thoughts exactly When I saw the thread title, I was puzzling over what it is referring to.
+GeekBoy.from.Illinois Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 who would've thought that anyone actually looked at that page My thoughts exactly When I saw the thread title, I was puzzling over what it is referring to. I thought similar too, then I remembered that at one time last year a local web site admin was asking me about scraping from that page every few minutes to extract logs from people from their site so they could keep a similar page. Luckily that request never went anywhere, and that site admin isn't running that site any more...
+benh57 Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Now if only i could filter that page to view my friend's DNFs, notes, etc...
