+Nader60
Is it possible to search for only those geocaches that are wheelchair and/or baby stroller accessible? Quote Link to comment
+SSO JOAT
Yes. You can either make a PQ and specify those attributes be present or you can use GSAK and filter for those attributes. Quote Link to comment
+scorpio_dark
For any of us non-premium folks: I did a google search and quickly found this bookmark list. Betting you can find more that way. Found some other pretty super bookmarks that way too! Quote Link to comment
+NYPaddleCacher
Is it possible to search for only those geocaches that are wheelchair and/or baby stroller accessible? I doesn't really answer your question but I know of a few geocachers that bring small children along in one of those child backpacks like this one: The kids seem to be having a good time and the terrain that the parents could negotiate was pretty significant. +Nader60
Got the baby back pack, rather use a stroller, easier to trade off. Quote Link to comment
+Nader60
The pocked query worked perfectly. I have 18 places I supposedly can take the stroller. Thanks so much. Quote Link to comment
+Trucker Lee
When setting up your query, terrain level 1 would indicate accessible from the pathway. 1.5 would indicate a step or two off most of the time. Quote Link to comment

Found some other pretty super bookmarks that way too! I just skimmed the first page, but about half the caches were archived. Does that mean people think they can't hide a well-hidden cache and also have it be wheelchair accessible? Quote Link to comment

As soon as I read this my mind started turning on some great specifically themed puzzle ideas for terrain 1. Quote Link to comment
+narcissa
I have found that there aren't many caches I can't get a stroller to, with a little determination and a friend to help. Most of my finds prior to early 2009 were done with a stroller. Quote Link to comment
+wolfslady
We use a stroller for ones that are longer hikes and then my DS either walks or we carry him whatever distance is left. The problem with weeding out ones that aren't listed as being accessible is that you will miss a lot of good caches that you could do without much trouble. I have a sling that is great for carrying my son while I cache. If it's a longer walk and worth getting the stroller out I will just toss it in the bottom in case I need it. It's easy to slip on and slip him in to save my arms. When he was smaller and lighter I carried him for miles very comfortably in it. So many caches are less than 100' off the trail and very easy to do with a young child but you'd be hard pressed to get a stroller them. Those are some of the best. Quote Link to comment
