trouble with my Oregon

I recently bought an Oregon 400t and I love it. I have hand entered some coords for multis, and I can't figure out how to get them off. They are in the Waypoints folder and are numbered 001, 002, 003 and so on. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the above link and scroll down the page to the item. All the various item numbers can be scrolled down to. Edited April 20, 2010 by eaparks

When you go to the page eaparks linked to, look at entry w5, and follow the instructions there.

Go into Setup then Reset then Delete All Waypoints.

Go into Setup then Reset then Delete All Waypoints.

 

Or go to Waypoint Manager and delete only the waypoints you want to delete.

 

You'll need to select each one, then scroll down to the 'Delete Waypoint' button.

Or if you want to kill off all of the waypoints you've created, and there's quite a few, plug your Garmin in to your PC and delete the waypoint file(s) in the Garmin/GPX folder.

Or for selective / mass waypoint management, export them all to MapSource or another mapping program. Delete all on the GPS. Clean up the exported file on your computer, deleting the ones you no longer need. Then send it all back to your Oregon.
