tubeex1995
I would like to start doing paperless caching (with the cache page, hints and logs in a PDA) but I do not know what kind I want. If you are a paperless cacher, and use a PDA can you tell me about a good one that is not too expensive. Quote Link to comment

NordicMan
The Palm m5xx series PDA was extremely popular so you shouldn't have much problem finding on on eBay in good shape, for in the neighborhood of ~$30. That's a good unit to consider for paperless geocaching. There are of course many other models available too, but there's your starting point Quote Link to comment

I use a Palm m515 that I got for around that plus some shipping. It works very well and is easy to use. You won't get images, but you get all the descriptions, cache info, past logs, hints, etc. I'm very happy with it Cachemate, and/or GSAK will load your caches in bulk for you. +Chrysalides
I use a Palm Vx as well. Problem is that serial ports are slow and is an endangered species. Quote Link to comment
+Trucker Lee
............... Problem is that serial ports are slow and is an endangered species. And the quick workaround is don't settle for any used Palm device that doesn't take an SD card. Greatly increases the options to load the device. Biggest problem I have is keeping mine charged.
