How do you block viewing of your public profile? or How do you Become Private?

You can't.

 

If you don't want your logging activity to be viewed on the website, don't log on the website.

Or log as notes. That way, the cache owner gets notified of your find by e-mail, people looking at the particular cache will see your log, but there is no way of easily seeing where you've been to at a glance.

A lot of cachers log notes. No easy way to track them by cacher. And it puts an end to the number counting.

Don't know about the OP, but one possibility - prevent the spouse from finding out you've been geocaching

1) Don't log online.

2) Send emails to the cache onwers instead of logging anything.

3) Log in note form only. We can read them in the cache page but not from your profile.

 

To answer StarBrand, there are a few cases where I'm aware of women being harrased via their profiles from "stalkers" tracking their logs.

 

No idea why in this case though.
