+Tzinny
I was planning a trip to the islands of Turks and Caicos and was curious if any caches are hidden there. There are 5. One of them was hidden in April and has not been found yet (today is 10/15). It is not a difficult cache according to the ratings. It got me wondering what is the longest span between hiding a cache and the FTF. Anyone have some examples? Quote Link to comment
+Knight2000
There are many caches that have been out for years that have never been found. Quote Link to comment

+Ether Bunny
Some countries with remote areas have plenty. Check the country of Ghana. Most caches there never get found. GCHAYZ http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...3f-d90bea94dd8c Quote Link to comment

+Crafty Turtle
Phew, I don't feel quite so paranoid now. My first hide was published on Wednesday. A DNF appeared Wednesday night, then nada. I guess I should wait a few years. ....or place a few more caches. Quote Link to comment

+briansnat
Over Labor Day weekend I was FTF on one placed in May. Of course that doesn't compare to some of these that haven't been found in years, but I sure was surprised. Quote Link to comment

Like Mount Temple, it surely hasn't survived the northern climate this long. Quote Link to comment

+Knight2000
We had one here that took two years to find. It wasn't a puzzle or a secluded area either. Jezebel GC11AYQ - hidden 3/8/07, still unfound. That one will give you a headache. Quote Link to comment
