reporting inappropriate log notes

How do I report a cacher who is posting inappropriate logs as cache finds. It apprears they are juveniles, as the posts are the typical pre-teen type of excrement descriptions. IE:

 

1). Location: Washington, United States

nachooooolibre found Tumbleweed's Park & Grab #10 -- Peace & Good Will (Traditional Cache) at 8/8/2009

 

Log Date: 8/8/2009

Nachooooo Libre and Evil Lulu typed in your skin with poopy Wheaties!

Sure poop jokes are funny, at least I think so. You just have to have the right audience to appreciate the nuances of bathroom humor. A cache log simply doesn't have the right audience.

ROFL aweseome. No, Beavis and Butthead probably don't geocache. Heck they wouldn't even know what to do with a GPSr. My guess is they'd probably try to use it as a phone first, then resort to smashing into pieces, like they did with the corn plant when it wouldn't grow fast enough

I've seen many of Mr, Libre's logs before and while I consider them harmless fun, there have been other complaints about his brand of humor. I did delete a few logs on my caches and invited him to relog in a more family friendly manner. We ended up having a short email exchange. He's really not a bad kid at all.

 

One thing I might suggest is to encrypt his logs, or you could do what I did and ask him to change them. He will.

 

One of my favorite "gems" from him was this log. He encrypted that one himself.

More curious about what to do concerning cachers with inapropriate user names? Bathroom humor is bad enough. If that's what you want to be called, that's strange but your problem. But there is one that I've seen that is actually obscene. Not sure how the user got away with it.

If there is really nothing too bad with the logs, why report them?

 

Which is worse, logs with adult words that are offensive to kids, or kid's logs that offend adults?

I think you've already gone as far as you need to go. If Libre was obstinate I might recommend forwarding it to Groundspeak... but he (or she?) was willing to work with you (right?). No harm, no foul.
