crypticduo
Any chance the Endura Sierra will take the place of the Garmin Oregon as the top-of-the-line handheld GPS for Geocaching? Can anyone make a comparison of stats between the two? Quote Link to comment
NordicMan
Well, right away there are probably quite a few people who will ask whom decided the Garmin Oregon is the current top dog for Geocaching But based on spec,, the Endura does seem to have all the right bells & whistles to be a contender. +Chuy!
Some dudes in Germany have reviewed it - I think the owner of gpspassion.com has too. I was just surfing the net yesterday when I ran into a video clip in German about the review. I don't recall the website - try googling it. Quote Link to comment
+Puppy Dawg
I had an Oregon for a while...HATED it. I thought top dog was the 60csx or the PN-40 Quote Link to comment

+Indotguy
Once the Endura line reaches the store shelves I'm sure the reviews will start coming in. I wait with anticipation. Stats for the Endura models can be seen on the Lowrance website. Quote Link to comment

It seems to be the only one with additional information beyond whats listed on the Lowrance website. Quote Link to comment

+plumbrokeacres
Anyways, anyone know what the deal is with Canadian topo/street maps for this unit? Have you applied the new firmware update? available here: I updated mine a couple days a go and now I can delete the directories and have Canadian roads on my base map. No Topo yet but there are turn by turn road maps for Canada & US but only for Safari and Sierra Quote Link to comment
