+Chuy!
I had a Nuvi 660 and it is very accurate for geocaching. It doesn't have a compass page but it does have a satellite page with your current position. You'll have to navigate by the numbers. #s go up when heading north or west. It's not the ideal GPS to use as it has a relatively short battery life and is easy to break if you drop it on a rock, for example. But, if that's all you have... Edited June 6, 2009 by Chuy! +dbrakob
Not sure what you consider cheap but you can get a Delorme PN-20 from Walmart right now for $150. I just got one a month ago and it provides easy PQ transfer and paperless caching. Quote Link to comment
keldar
If you don't care about bells and whistles, and don't mind manual entry, you can still pick up a Magellan eXplorist 100 from a certain auction site for about 50 bucks. Quote Link to comment
+Chrysalides
I am looking for a good but cheap GPS so i can do some geocaching, I have one but mine is not exact, I have Garmin Nuvi 660. I use the Pilotsnipes macros to install geocaches as custom POIs on my 660. That ability alone is worth the $30 membership fee to me. Out of the car I use a Venture HC. Quote Link to comment
