OKH
Excuse my ignorance, what is a 'nano'. It's a tiny cache, about the size of the tip of your pinky that typically only holds a small, rolled up log Quote Link to comment

Kohavis
Also, they usually are made of aluminum and have a magnet inside so you can stick them to metal surfaces like railings, junction boxes, sign posts, etc. Quote Link to comment
Wild Thing 73
It's a tiny cache, about the size of the tip of your pinky that typically only holds a small, rolled up log, as referred by dclark21....In my area we call this cache container a "Pica" ..... Lots of fun to locate. A "nano" is a small container similar to the container that is inside a "bison tube"....."Pica's" and "nanos", I feel, should always be described in the Cache description because they are smaller then a "Micro" container. Stay safe and keep a sharp eye out for those tiny containers. Quote Link to comment
ras_oscar
Rmember: the container is usually painted brass or aluminum: non ferrous so it won't rust. The magnet is inside under the log. If you tip it over to get the log out you may accidentally drop the magnet. I did that once, on a playground in a pile of wood chips!!! had to replace the magnet to get it back online. Now I carry a small supply of rare earth magnets and I'm more careful. Quote Link to comment
StarBrand
Officially there is no such thing as a nano cache. They are classified as a micro for cache sizes. Quote Link to comment
