Lassendograiser
I apologize upfront if this is a topic that has been covered, and I am sure it is, but how do you get the email or notifications of new caches in your area? Somehow in all the hours I have spent on this site I have missed this. Thanks in advance Lassen Quote Link to comment

WRASTRO
Gotta be a premium member to get those notifications. Quote Link to comment
BrrrMo
And there are many other advantages to being a member and cost less per month than you probably spent on gas searching for your first cache. BrrrMo Edited January 26, 2009 by BrrrMo Quote Link to comment
Pat in Louisiana
Premium membership is a definite plus! You will save many hours of just loading caches one at a time with the pocket queries alone. Quote Link to comment
Lassendograiser
Thank you all for your input. I plan on becoming a premium member but have not yet done so. This is a brand new hobbie for me so that is another step/rung on the ladder. Thanks again for your guidance. Lassen Quote Link to comment
trainlove
To see all the new caches in your area, well it depends, you can go to Hide & Seek a cache. Search by state and enter your state. All the newest caches will be on the first few pages. If you live near a border you will have to do this for multiple states. And sorry, but there are not going to be distances and directions to any of them, but at a glance you can see at least if any of them are unfound (at least unlogged yet). Quote Link to comment
Cryptid
I'm not sure if you got an answer yet. Go to "My Profile", on the right side, half way down, look for "Set up notifications", on this page click "Create a new notification" from there you can set them up. You can set the miles from your home for new cache listings and type of caches. Welcome to Geocaching, see ya around Lassen county. Edited February 13, 2009 by Cruiserdude Quote Link to comment
