+JamGuys
Just a few pics of the carnage suffered by one of my ammo can caches (JamGuys' Tenth!) after the cedar tree it was placed under was recently bulldozed. Managed to salvage some of the contents but eventually decided to archive the cache. I guess you really can't stop progress. Edited January 3, 2009 by JamGuys Quote Link to comment

+Kit Fox
That ammo can can be salvaged, but the ammo can that met a mower couldn't. RIP Cache Mower Chipper Fire Quote Link to comment
+TrailGators
Here is another ammo can after a fire. Almost everything inside was toast but the ammo can help up like a champ. Quote Link to comment

+Team CeDo
This HOT cache was found in Tampa, Florida. It got this way due to a controlled burn. Edited January 4, 2009 by Team CeDo Quote Link to comment
+Star*Hopper
That ammo can can be salvaged, but the ammo can that met a mower couldn't. Good grief! Did you mean 'mower' or 'mortar'?? ~105mm I'd guess!! ~* Quote Link to comment
+Dread_Pirate_Bruce
There is a reason the military uses these boxes to hold ammo. It is because they are durable. Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
A little salt water: A little fire: Some heavy equipment: It's all in a day's work caching. Quote Link to comment
+Rugged Fox
Bah! I'd say all of those are just fine, nothing a little field surgery with a leatherman couldn't fix. ;} I find it interesting that of all of them, salt water seems to do the most irreparable damage. Quote Link to comment
+Castle Mischief
Pfft. You should see what chocolate sauce does to them. Quote Link to comment
