Okay - couldn't resist. Most geocoins have mintings of 100-500, so rarity is less imporant than demand when it comes to "value" Quote Link to comment

I'm pretty sure this one was still for sale after the elections, telling me that they weren't big sellers. Don't know if that helps or not. Quote Link to comment

However, the Vote Obama and Vote McCain geocoins were gone (or pulled?) before the election. I'm not sure of the numbers minted, but I do think that the Vote Obama and Vote McCain coins are rare and I also think they hold collection value outside of the geocaching community as well... as political memorabilia. I bought 2 Vote Obama (1 x Nickel and 1 x Gold) and 2 Vote McCain (1 x Nickel and 1 x Gold) before they disappeared from the store. Quote Link to comment
