+larry739 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Yes, Sarah made this expression famous, but we actually have a cache named this in Kansas and it is a hoot. Check out the videos on youtube of people crossing the bridge to nowhere. More coming soon. GC1J5WC Quote
RuideAlmeida Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 We also have one near Lisbon, in Portugal. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...47-6a7beb91b5cd Quote
+aviatik Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 (edited) And what about bridge from nowhere to nowhere? (GCM0PT, Czech Republic. Never finished highway bridge) Edited November 24, 2008 by aviatik Quote
+briansnat Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Looks like fun, but how is encouraging graffiti in a wilderness park good for our sport? Just put the cache on the other side and dispense with graffiti on the pole. Quote

+tozainamboku Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 We've had a Bridge to Nowhere in the San Gabriel mountains long before the phrase became famous in the recent election. A flood in 1938 washed out the road that was still under construction. The bridge, across the narrows of the canyon, remained. It can be reached by a 9 mile round trip hike up the river. The bridge is popular with bungee jumpers and geocachers. Quote
