+Big Wolf
Just to let you all know that after a couple of emails from Bugsyves we have between us managed to get this working. It appears that the latest version of the iTouch comes with an application called 'air sharing' and this gives local access to a whole range of file types. With this in mind it appears to be be straight forward to do an HTML export from GSAK and then use the air sharing app to display the index.html file on the iTouch. I don't have an iTouch of my own but Bugsyves assures me its working great. The only downside reported is that the iTouch does not see the transferred folder as a web site so you have to scroll down past all the GCXXX files to get to the index.html. For more info re the air sharing app see the following link. Looking atthe app it looks like it costs 3.99 (GBP) from the iTunes store so if your iTouch does not have it guess you can add and then soon go paperless caching! http://www.avatron.com/products// Edited September 26, 2008 by Big Wolf Quote Link to comment
+Marky
I already have AirSharing and GSAK, so I'll have to give that a try! Quote Link to comment

I have now had a reply from the author of GSAK who says:- There should also be a file called "_1index.htm". I'm not sure of the collation sequence used on the iTouch, but on other systems this file gets sorted to the very top of the list. This file is exactly the same as "index.htm" but has been give this name for easy access when you have to browse the folder." So looks like there is no need to do all that scrolling after all Edited September 26, 2008 by Big Wolf Quote Link to comment

+popop
I've been using this combination for a couple of weeks now (also got in on the early adopter free price for Air Sharing - hope the updates are free as well!) I love it. Word of warning though - if you export with the "include Google Map" box checked it seems to cause problems in iPhone's Safari browser. With any given cache page open in the browser you can't swipe up/down/right/left and expect it to stay in place - it always snaps back to left margin. So you can't swipe down to see logs. Once I exported to HTML without Google Maps box checked it scrolls/swipes as expected. I'm still watching to see what GEODE is going to bring to the table but for now this is a very adequate paperless/offline solution in my view. Quote Link to comment
+naviguesser74
how about iGeocaching? I have been watching its development via a Yahoo group, but I do not yet own an iPhone. looks like it will do the trick Quote Link to comment

+Marky
I tried this method, and while it works ok, it was rather painful to do running GSAK in VMWare Fusion on a Mac and trying to get access to the AirSharing public folder. Copying the files took for ever. iGeoCacher seems interesting, but I'm not willing to pay that much for an app, not knowing if I would find it useful. Maybe if there was an iGeoCacher Free that would allow me to try it out, with limitations (like only allowing 50 caches to be imported). Quote Link to comment
+Corey
And you've probably seen that Groundspeak submitted an app to Apple? http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=204713 Quote Link to comment
