Kid friendly GPSr

I am getting my kids there own GPSr and what some advice. I like my Garmin MAP60CSx and woud like to stick with garmin just for compatability.

 

Kids are 13, 11, 9 and 7. Any suggestions?

If you do much wilderness caching, Rinos might be a good choice. That way you won't lose any of them...

Can't beat the Geko for kid friendly. However - it just isn't a very powerful GPS unit.

 

I would upgrade to the Venture HC. Color screen, map memory, high sensitivity, USB, long battery life and a small rugged form factor. About $138 (shop around).

For 13, no kid friendly gps is needed. Even 11. Venture HC sounds good.

I bought my kids each the Venture CX. They like it and have had no problems finding caches. I also have the 60csx and they don't cache without me. We also are not in an area that has poor reception so the high sensitivity receiver wasn't that important to us. My kids are 9 and 12.
