+Delta68
I removed teh memory card from the Mio to load html files to it using a card reader on the PC. MM was running at the time. I've put the card back in the Mio and now MM just hangs when loading a map. I've reset the mio (three times) reinstalled mm on the Mio (twice) copied over a new map segment Still just hangs when I select a map to load Any ideas? Thanks M Quote Link to comment

The two files should reinstall themselves when you next open Memory Map. If you're worried about losing them just rename them. It's worth a go. Bernard Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
Might have corrupted the MM map files on the card so you may need to just re-copy them from your PC. Chris Quote Link to comment
+maxkim
I keep getting similar problems... MM take approx 30 mins to load, only solution I have found is to do a total reset and reinstall... usually lasts for a couple of weeks... but its a right pain Quote Link to comment
+Delta68
Thanks for the replies. I left it churning away while we had lunch and then it seemed OK. Unfortunately, by then it seemed too late to bother doing the fifty mile drive to the area we had planned to go to. MM ruined my day! OK, it's my own fault really for not sorting it all out in advance Quote Link to comment
+Lost in Space
On your PC, are you deleting all Marks/Tracks etc in MM before importing new ones? If I remember correctly MM does not overwrite existing data but simply adds to it. You might be overloading your Mio's memory. Edited July 13, 2008 by Lost in Space Quote Link to comment

I only load just over 500 marks at a time. I've done nothing different to what I always do It takes 9 minutes for MM to load now. M Edited July 14, 2008 by Delta68 Quote Link to comment
