need help with pocket q

Hi,

I'm also new to these pocket queries.

I have no idea if this will help or not. But I had the same problem. I flipped it to search by zip code instead of from home coordinates and checked the preview list and it found stuff. Then I flipped it back to home coordinates and it found stuff. I have no idea why it started working.

Also make sure your selections do not cancel each other out.

I'm new to the querries as well but so far no problems getting the querries to run or getting the emails.

For now I'm using EasyGPS to view the querries and haven't had any problems with the program but what I'd like to know, is it possible to unscramble the hints?

Would a program like GSAK be a better choice?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Forums! :)

GSAK is an incredible program that can be daunting at first, but it is so incredibly useful, it is worth the time to figure it out. The people in the gsak.net Forums are ready to help if you get stuck. In the meantime, here is a rudimentary tutorial that might help you get started.

Using the "smart name" codes, you can get a useful waypoint name, and the hint on your GPSr.
