It doenst matter what I check or uncheck it always comes back no search results. What am I doing wrong? Please help!!! Quote Link to comment

I flipped it to search by zip code instead of from home coordinates and checked the preview list and it found stuff. Then I flipped it back to home coordinates and it found stuff. I have no idea why it started working. Also make sure your selections do not cancel each other out. kris Quote Link to comment
+briansnat Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 One key is to remember that the selection parameters are an AND statement, not an OR statement. For instance if you select Caches I Have Found AND Caches I Haven't Found you won't get both, you'll get neither because its not possible to have found AND not found a cache. Quote Link to comment

For now I'm using EasyGPS to view the querries and haven't had any problems with the program but what I'd like to know, is it possible to unscramble the hints? GSAK is an incredible program that can be daunting at first, but it is so incredibly useful, it is worth the time to figure it out. The people in the gsak.net Forums are ready to help if you get stuck. In the meantime, here is a rudimentary tutorial that might help you get started. Using the "smart name" codes, you can get a useful waypoint name, and the hint on your GPSr. Quote Link to comment
