+Team Snorkasaurus
I just activated a new "Signal Bouncer" and noticed something odd. If you look at the coins in the "List of Trackables Owned" on our profile, this is listed as: "Signal Bouncer - Super Cacher Geocoina" Geocoina? Is this a typo, or is this the actual name. And if so... why? Quote Link to comment
+Landsharkz
Looks like a typo. The coin producer should send a note to TPTB to get it fixed - no biggie - it happens occasionally. Quote Link to comment
YemonYime
May 31, 2008 PITTSBURGH, PA (AP) Scientists at the Zoological Institute for Titling Species (ZITS) have issued an official scientific name for the recent phenomenon known as "geocoins". These collectible tokens are now formally recognized under the binomial nomenclature of "Geocoina Metallurgica". In related news, researchers at Johns Hopkins University have also reported a rise in the number of cases of a new ailment they have called "Geocoina Accumulatae". This disorder effects an individual's ability to reasonably control the amount of geocoin purchases the individual can reasonably make in any given period of time. (See related article about how doctors are becoming concerned about individuals being blinded by looking into the sun while examining special geocoins. This is yet another medical phenomenon known as "Geocoina Suncatcherrea") Quote Link to comment
