+PopUpPirate Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Is there a decent GPX of Trigpoints around... I'm thinking of using them on Memory Map and GSAK? Thanks! Quote
+lordelph Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Barry Hunter probably has the data you need squirrelled away on his www.trigtools.co.uk website. Not sure it's available as GPX, but given the data it wouldn't be too tricky to convert... Quote
+Delta68 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 (edited) You can download a list in gpx format from www.trigpointinguk.com Edited March 17, 2008 by Delta68 Quote
+SidAndBob Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I think I got my data from here. Just run it through GSAK if you need any specific format. It's a great way to keep an offline database of your visits just in case TPUK.com goes down for a long period again. Quote
+Delta68 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 We only log trigpoints when they appear as GC45CC; can't be bothered with logging trigpoints by themselves on a separate list. If you want GC45CC to move to any particular trigpoint, outforthehunt is very quick in answering emails (allowing for time difference etc). We requested this a couple of weeks ago so a virtual could be included in a set of caches we set... Quote
barryhunter Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I do have it on trigtools, but no easy GPX export. But www.trigpointinguk.com (as already suggested) itself should work fine Quote
+PopUpPirate Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 Some great resources - thanks people Quote
+PopUpPirate Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 Sorted - http://www.trigpointinguk.com proved to be best, because I could download all Pillars, ignoring all other marks. Downloaded as Memory Map, exported from Memory Map as a GPX it's perfect. The resulting GPX file gives trigs matching those marked on OS maps, brill. Thanks again. Quote
