Downloading to Palm TX PDA

cashounds

Recommended Posts

We just purchased a Palm TX PDA. We don't know what program to use to down load cache information pages from the Geocaching site to the PDA for use in the field. We are first time PDA users, so we'd like to keep it as simple and easy as possible. Up to now we've been using a notebook computer w/aircard. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I've used Cachemate for years. Best $8 you'll spend for caching.

I am too very new to all of this, and I had very little trouble figuring out cachemate on my palm.

It is fairly intuitive and with GSAK installed on the computer at home I can easily send cache info right to the PDA, and then review any part of the cache info I might want, including the description and the hints.

$8 gets you the instant download. No waiting, no worries.

Just to let you know, you don't necessarily need GSAK to download to the Palm. Cachemate comes with a file converter that works fine. That said, you'll probably want GSAK, anyway. There's tons of useful features on it that you'll love to have.

But definitely, go get Cachemate. It rocks!
