Garmin 60CSX

J'aimerais savoir si quelqu'un parmi vous aurait le même problème que moi avec mon 60CSX de Garmin?

 

J'ai acheté mon gps neuf en août 2006 et dès le début, la précision variait autour de 30 mètres en moyenne et la vitesse change seulement à toutes les 4 secondes. Si je frène ou accélère en auto, le gps prend 4 secondes pour changer la vitesse. Si je m'arrête à un stop en auto, une fois immobilisé, ça prend 4 secondes pour que la vitesse revienne à 0.

 

Avec une moyenne de 30m de précision, il m'est donc très difficile de faire du géocaching.

Mon vendeur a retourné mon gps à Garmin et j'en ai reçu un 2e qui faisait la même chose. Je suis présentement avec un 3e gps et le problème n'est toujours pas réglé. Pourtant, pendant l'attente du changement de gps auprès de la compagnie, mon vendeur me passait un 60CS qui lui, fonctionnait à merveille.

 

J'ai eu un 12XL et j'ai un 76Map pour le travail et jamais je n'ai eu ce problème de vitesse et de précision.

 

Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée?

As-tu vérifié si le GPS était en mode "Économie d'énergie"? J'ai un 60CX et lorsqu'il est en économie d'énergie, la précision est très faible (20m) et la mise à`jour moins fréquente...

 

Did you check if your GPS was on "Battery Saving Mode"? I have a 60Cx and when it is in Batteray Saving Mode, the precision is very small (20m) and position is updated less often.

Also, try with the compass 'off' . . . it responds much better
