Keystone
In most cases, the answer is "yes." Quote Link to comment

+Bushlight
What do you mean by "most cases"? Quote Link to comment
+Bushlight
Is it up to the owner to decide if you can or not? Quote Link to comment
Keystone
What do you mean by "most cases"? Because if I didn't add that, some smart aleck would post to say "what about locationless caches?" and "what about caches that have been locked?" and "what about if the owner doesn't permit any more logs?" and probably some other situations which I'm not remembering right now, which is why it is smart to say "most cases." +Vinny & Sue Team
What do you mean by "most cases"? There are some caches which have been archived in such a way that the cache listing page (i.e., descriptions, etc.) may not be edited/modified, and no new log entries of any kind may be left on the listing page. Such "locked" archivals seem to form a minority of archived caches, but they do exist. Please also remember that ideally, any archived cache should be/should have been removed by its owner or by the local/regional geocaching association (as part of its Abandoned Cache Rescue program) within a short time of the date that it was archived. AZcachemeister
IF you find the container and sign the log, then you should TRY to post a 'found it' online log. Some caches are locked by TPTB, and in other cases the owner may have posted a cut-off date, but not yet removed the cache. Sometimes caches are archived because nobody could find it, and everyone thought it was missing. Quote Link to comment
