moozehead2020 Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 (edited) Where can you get those really small ziploc plastic bags like the ones used in micro caches? I measured a few and their sizes are: 2" x 2.5", 3" x 3.5", 3" x 4.75". The small snack baggies that I have are a bit too wide for a hide a key without a lot of folding. CacheNCarryMA Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Try your local craft store -- like A.C. Moore or Michael's. Some craft people use those bags to store beads or other tiny items. Quote
+Dick-Dastardly Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Take a look here. . . http://www.royalbag.com/4_mil_clear_ziplock_bags.asp There a lot of outfits selling the bags you want on the internet. Google "plastic Zip bags". Good luck, DD Quote
+GrateBear Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I got a box of 200 at Michael's. Also saw similar bags at a CVS, where they sell pill containers. About the same size, only say something about the pill dosage on them. Have seen these used locally. Quote
moozehead2020 Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 (edited) Thanks for the info! I would prefer to go to the local craft stores or CVS rather than ordering them on the internet. Craft stores always have those 40% off coupons! Edited August 16, 2007 by moozehead2020 Quote
+A2D Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I bought a pack of 100 key size "pill bags" at Rite Aid, I use them for my vitamins and for the evil multi cache I am working on... Quote
+FamilyMac Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Craft section of walmart has them 100 for like 96 cents... we've picked up a couple of sizes... Angie FamilyMac Matriarch Quote
+mgoose Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Walmart or Hobby lobby . Thats where I get mine ! Quote
+Lutehawk Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 If you dont want to sit on large quantities of them you can generally get them in smaller amounts at your local dollar store. Quote
+GroverZ Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 I got 200 ct. boxes at Michaels in a couple of different sizes. I also saw the smallest ones being sold in a local jewelry/bead store in packs of something like 25. Quote
+briansnat Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 I've found the ones available at crafts stores to be very flimsy and easily punctured. You can get 3 and 4 mil thick bags online and those will last a lot longer. Quote
