+mudsneaker Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Its An Alphabet Soup Challenge for Washington (GCYP7T) I was asked to post about it here, so have a go at an easier challenge to run after. No mountains to climb, no days of driving all over the state. Completely doable by anyone! Quote
+Ambrosia Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Completely doable by anyone! As long as you're a premium member. Quote
+Ambrosia Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 This looks like fun! I've only done 4 caches since the start date though, so it will probably take me a little while. Quote
+Lizzy Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I put together a bookmark list of Washington Challenge Caches. It's under the topic "Northwest Bookmarks" pinned at the top. I'll try to keep it up to date. Quote
+hydnsek Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Congrats, mudsneaker, on the FTF on this challenge! And thanks to ohjoy for creating a challenge that truly everyone can do! Quote

As long as you're a premium member. Not trying to argue, but as Ambrosia notes because of the requirement to have a Bookmark list, only Premium Members are eligible to do this challange. Quote

Many of the challenges require a bookmark list, but you're right, I wasn't thinking about that. My point was that the Alphabet challenge is "easier" and more accessible to more cachers because of the broader range of caches that can be used - you don't have to travel the state, climb mountains, or perform feats of mental gymnastics. (Unless you want to.) Edited August 9, 2007 by hydnsek Quote

+ohjoy! Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 (edited) If anyone out there is not a premium member due to financial hardship, let me know and I'll work with you so that you can complete this challenge and log this cache. Edited August 11, 2007 by ohjoy! Quote
+GeoRoo Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I was going to do a challenge cache.......it required doing 10 caches in a years time. Would anyone be interested? Quote
+mudsneaker Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 How about a "Find all of OhJoy!'s Caches Challenge"? Thas only 239 currently to find. But if you exclude the out of state ones the number will drop a bit. Is there anyone is WA that has more hides? Or "The Ultimate Challenge" Find all the challenge caches to qualify for the Ultimate final. Quote
luckykoi Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Hey this is kewl.. I only need seven more.. I'd go out and try to get them tonight but I'm in Canada so they would not count.. Quote
+hydnsek Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Or "The Ultimate Challenge" Find all the challenge caches to qualify for the Ultimate final. Oooh, I like that one, I'd be in the lead (5 of 7 current challenges completed). But then Ruck and Mr Gadget and Navigatorz and Patudles would get the Fire Lookouts and Highest done, which would catapult them past the rest of us. Quote
Chumpo Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Some of us in Spokane have already completed that challenge, thanks to Trevor and Kate's fun hides. Let's see... A is for Altamont, B is for (Better) Bygone Boulevards, C is for Concave, D is for Dead End... The scary part is that I can remember every single one of them. Quote

I would have most if it completed if not for the requirement that the caches have to be AFTER 7/1/07. Quote
