Yeah, this one seems to be more popular in my area, but I'm sure it's just people copying what they see others do. Used it once, works fine, website never seems to go down, no complaints here. Thanks to whoever is behind it.

I just had a cache listing denied publication that linked to geochecker.com. The reason was that the site uses ads on the right and that is prohibited by the no commercial caches policy. I removed the link and it was published.

 

Anyone else have this problem? I have switched my link to nmgeocaching.com, but I prefer the stats from the geochecker.com site regarding successful/unsuccessful attempts at the co-ordinates.

That's correct; please don't use cache pages to link to sites that are chock full of advertising. Use a checking site that is ad-free. Evince is one example, and I gather that the NMGeocaching site is another, though I'm not familiar with that one.
