+The Bolas Heathens
We're Apple users so here is our experience: There are some Mac options for caching e.g. http://www.maccaching.com but they are not as mature as the PC solutions such as GSAK. We did try native Mac applications for caching but ended up using Parallels to run Windows Vista on our MacBook laptop and then use GSAK, Memory Map and can export to PDA, GPS etc etc from there. This needs an Intel based Mac but works really well and means you can run Windows applications in their own window on the Mac desktop at native speeds. +Bear and Ragged
No problems, apart from the fact I can't use GSAK. Macsimple GPS http://www.macsimplegps.com/oldsite/index.html Keyspan USB to serial adaptor to connect GPSr to mac PPC GPX files transfered to storage card via a card reader. (Had problems getting the MS reader to activate, so use MobiPocket reader instead) G Edited February 21, 2007 by KandG Quote Link to comment
