Apple computers and caching software

We're Apple users so here is our experience:

There are some Mac options for caching e.g. http://www.maccaching.com but they are not as mature as the PC solutions such as GSAK.

We did try native Mac applications for caching but ended up using Parallels to run Windows Vista on our MacBook laptop and then use GSAK, Memory Map and can export to PDA, GPS etc etc from there. This needs an Intel based Mac but works really well and means you can run Windows applications in their own window on the Mac desktop at native speeds.

An Apple owning mate might have been converted to caching during a visit to SA recently. Anybody have experience with that set up and what do you use for software and gpsr connections?
