I need to get some small log books for a key box. I have seen little 1X2 inch spiral bound books. Where do I find these? I also need 2X3.5 but not the "write in the rain" style something cheaper. Help!

Check the nearest dollar store or Big Lots for the 2x3.5 ones. I can't help you with the super tiny ones.

I make my own from a spiral bound steno pad. All you need are scissors and a wire cutter and you can cut them down to whatever size you need.

Cut blank scap paper to the size you need. Staple top or side. You're done.

Key box? Like the magnetic key holders? Keep in mind that they are not waterproof. If you don't want to splurge on a full-sized Write in the Rain notebook (each page can be used as a micro logsheet), you will probably want to invest in a small ziploc bag unless the cache itself is well protected from the elements.

I make my own like the others. you can also just staple paper together and fold it into the size you want. I saw that one at a cache in culver city.

Go online to Oriental Trading Co.

They have 1x2 spirals with your choice of themes.

A good size bag of them is less than five bucks.

I was told about a great idea at Geo event last month. For mini-micro logbooks go to a hobby store and get actual doll house books. They open to sign your initials and measure about 1/2" x 3/4" x 1/8".

Buy adding machine paper..... roll out some, fold several times.. staple top... cut edge..
