+Marky
Nice idea for a reward geocoin. Maybe somebody will do one for some of the similar caches around here. Also, kudos for not doing a pre-order. I wish more people would do that. --Marky Quote Link to comment
+wigoweb
We are the happy recipients of a gold coin, number 5. We were the fifth cachers to complete the tour. Really nice coin. Glad we also purchased some silver versions of this coin. It's a real plus to have the coin to go with the bragging rights for completing all 22 stages of this adventure. NJ is lucky to have cachers who set up challenges like the Tour de Cache. Quote Link to comment

+J10fly
BTW--> Were you planning on putting any unactivated ones in caches in the counties? Let me know if you are and I would be glad to pop a few around Gloucester county and even Camden County. Jayman11 Quote Link to comment

Jayman11 Look for a few unactivated coins in caches as FTF prizes and cache challenges with a coin as a prize from time to time from both ekitt10 and Frodo. They have purchased coins for that purpose. Thanks for the offer for help Jayman - we may be in touch. Thanks to everyone for your support and enthusiasm so far on this coin. Quote Link to comment

+nikcap
Wow, I just my mitts on one of these coins. Having just completed the challenge I got one of the snazzy gold coins. But the antique silver is very impressive too. They're pretty slick looking. Quote Link to comment
+9Key
Only 21 counties? Here's the Texas County Challenge >> http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...cd-f06f6727106f 254 counties in this silly state! A commemorative coin is in the works.... Back on topic > nice coin! I'll have to nab one of those. Quote Link to comment

I'll have to nab one of those. As for the 21 counties - you work with what you have. Surprisingly there is a tremendous amount of variety in geography from one end of New jersey to the other. And for one of our counties - Hudson - there is the added challenge of the county being very small, very urban and with few qualifying caches as we are not allowing micros. I can not imagine 254 counties for Texas. I hope your coin is as big as Texas and made of solid gold as you will earn that puppy by completing that challenge. Thanks for the compliment on our coin. Feel free to come do our challenge for a "gold" coin or if you can't make it this way the "silver" coins are available for purchase. Quote Link to comment

And yet, with Jersey traffic, it probably takes both of us the same time to get from one end of the state to the other. That is a real challenge though! Tour de Cache - NJ
Clarification: All of our prices include shipping to the US. For other destinations, drop us a line and we will quote you a price to your location including shipping. One of the "coin sites" had erroneously listed our coin as not including shipping. They have since corrected that error. So if you have held off ordering over confusion over shipping, we would appreciate it if you would reconsider our coin.
