+wyomingwapiti
http://www.ram-mount.com/products/rambigscreengps.htm Am thinking this might be worthwhile, but not sure it is worth the $33. Anyone try this yet? If so let me know what you think. Quote Link to comment

Anyone try this yet? If so let me know what you think. I was just looking for this. I'm thinking about getting it myself, might save me from having to keep a set of reading glasses handy when I'm driving. I want to see how I can mount it or adapt it to the Garmin mount I'm using now. GPSCity has it listed for $27.95. Edited December 1, 2006 by Team LPD Quote Link to comment
+embra
You know, this thing has been around for a good while, but I've never heard from anyone how well it works. It *seems* like a good idea. Quote Link to comment
+viking66
Its like the computer screens in the movie Brasil. Quote Link to comment
+DocDiTTo
Wonder if this interferes with removing the GPSr from the mount to take to the cache? I do that a lot while caching, this might get in the way. But it certainly looks useful for long road trips. Quote Link to comment
+Indotguy
A pretty nifty device, but reading glasses are cheaper and I can keep them with me when I leave the vehicle. The disclaimer on the right of the web page is also interesting. Imagine leaving this Ram Screen thingie in your vehicle adjusted in such a way that the sun shines thru it like a magnifiying glass and sets your upholstery on fire! Doh! Quote Link to comment
saw-saw
I have the cheap reading glasses for when I am alone and my wife for other times to help navigate. The first thing I need to get is the windshield mount to hold my GPS. Christmas I hope. Quote Link to comment
