Wife: Kids want a GPS. How much would one cost?

Me: Decent one with mapping would be $150.

Wife: Okay, get the one you want and the kids can have the emap.

Have been using an emap since pre-2000, so Garmin is a must so the software can be shared. So I start reading these forums and reading Garmin's website. After three weeks, decide on the Venture CSX for $150 after rebate. Went to walmart for a hands on feel and find the buttons too tight just like a few others on here. Go back to the board and figure since I really like the function of the buttons on the emap, the 60 would be the best one. Of course, after reading all of the pages about the new SiRF chipset plus thinking that the last unit has lasted 6+ years, figure why not. So tonight, I ordered the 60CSX and look forward to recieving it next week.

And tonight - Me: Honey, I ordered the one I want.

Wife: And how much did it cost?

Now, I'm in another delima. If I don't tell her, I'll be on the couch. If I tell her, I'll be on the couch. Oh well, at least I can read the manual on the laptop while on the couch. Actually, she's cool with it because it's my early xmas present.

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the advice that's been posted here letting me make an informed decision.
