Lock and Lock containers

Hey. We are just getting started. We want to plant our own cache, but are having

questions about the containers. Where are people in south florida getting the lock and lock

containers?? Or any other suggestions would be welcome as well. Thanks S& M

We just picked some up at Walmart.

Many grocery stores stock them these days. Target has them on Target.com and Amazon.com also has the 8 piece set.

In California, "99-cent Only Stores" are beginning to stock them. I'm not sure what store would be your equivalent back there.

Up here in Canada, eh, Costo sells a big box of a variety of sizes, eh? Good deal too, eh?

When I was looking for one, I first went to the local grocery store. I looked in the isle with all the other plastic containers. They only had one, and it was a real odd size.

 

I the went to WalMart and they had just about every size, so I got the one I wanted.

 

About a week later, I was in the grocery store again and found a bunch of different sizes of lock and lock's. They were in the bread isle.

I'm in Florida, as you are, I find a much better selection at Target then at Walmart - though my nearest Target isn't that near, and Wally World is ubiquitous. They generally have a couple of useful sizes.

I was amazed to discover the tiny grocery store I work at actually carries them, but I don't get mine there as they carry the round ones and I prefer the rectangular shaped ones.

 

Lock and Locks have really grown on me, at first I was a die-hard ammo can user, but the more Lock and Locks I found the more I liked them, they are a lot cheaper than an ammo can that's for sure.

 

When I bought them they had a 3 pack for $10 with 3 different size containers, just right for a regular cache and 2 smalls.

Around here - K-Mart and Wal-Mart have them but Target doesn't. Also have seen them at one of the dollar stores as well.

I have been able to buy various sizes of Lock & Lock containers at Walmart. If you're buying the tall rectangular size, check the corners of the container for cracks. Had to return one and found more on the shelf that were cracked.
