Coin Idea Interest

Ryder3 & Better Half

We are thinking of ideas for our next coin, and since Better Half is a wildlife artist, we thought a drawing of our Great Dane, Sky might be a good idea. We can't seem to take Sky Geocaching very often; he gets TOO much attention, because he is HUGE, bright white, and can be seen from a mile away! LOL!! We take him to events with us, and he is immediately surrounded by cachers who just fall in love with him! This coin would be dedicated to him.

We just wondered what kind of interest this coin would generate? We were thinking of having the coin done by the drawing, with the reverse side done mirror image, so you can see both sides of the dog's face. What do you think?

Being a dog owner, I love it! But, if you don't yet have a personal coin in mind, maybe the backside could be used to add a personal touch to this coin? Either way, that's a lovely drawing for a coin.

I'd love a couple but agree the team name needs to be on it ....maybe on a collar & the tracking number on the other side dog tags.....I was going to use that idea but didn't have the room.

Completely off topic -

During coverage of the British Open golf tournament there was a shot of a girl walking her great dane that looked EXACTLY like a tiger (apparently a paint job?). Talk about an attention getter!

I saw that, did you notice she wasn't even watching the tournament? Great way to get tv exposure.

Awesome! I love that drawing. I grew up with several of these amazing dogs.

Please let me know when you get this coin on the way, I would like to have one or maybe more.

Greetings from Germany, Ette KCH
