What Is The Difference Between Disabled And Archived?

If you plan on replacing the cache, or want to keep the option open, then disable it. If you are not going to replace the cache then archive it. Archiving is the permanent solution. Disabling is a temporary measure to allow you time to get another cache back in place. It is also used when, for some reason, a cache will not be available for a short period of time.

Ditto:

Since you may move the cache, keep in mind that if that changes the experience you should list it as a new cache. In some cases moving it 10' is an entirly new hide, and in other (like 200' over in another lamp post) it's pretty much the same.

This thread answered my question completely. I'd like to change the cache now, (that I'm a bit more experienced) to something a little more covert, and perhaps a larger container. The first one, (it was my first cache ever) was a micro, but now I'd like to graduate to a small container, etc. I like the idea of leaving it disabled for a week, then archiving it too.

Thanks for the help!
