+storm1
i just heard of this on icenrye's video. so you have a geocoin that you keep but you place it in and retrieve it from every cache you find?? and then the total distance traveled by the coin is your milage? is this how it works? do alot of you do this? can you use a travel bug tag? can someone show an example? +Miragee
Some people have either a Personal Travel Bug or Personal Geocoin. I think they log it into and out of every cache they find. That way it keeps track of your mileage. If you don't find too many caches, that might be fun, but if you ever find twenty or more caches in a day, that is a lot of extra logging to do . . . especially if you have a slow dialup connection to the Internet. +Davispak
Never thought of doing that. I guess that way you can keep track of how many miles you have travelled for caching. Kind of a cool idea. I know I've logged a few hundred already and I still have a low find count. Quote Link to comment
+Davispak
Kinda makes you the travel bug Quote Link to comment
+ByrnedFish
I have a personal TB that i log into and out of every cache i find (yes it is tedious and slow), but its fun to see how far youve traveled looking for boxes of juunk in the woods. You asked for an example- check out my personal Tb - 325 miles and couting Byrnes Bug I kinda agree that it makes teh person the TB, which is kinda a strage way to think about it Quote Link to comment

+FLYRFN
I bought a world travel coin and I'm logging it in one cache in every State/ Country I've cached in. so far it's over 20,000 miles. Quote Link to comment
