+naviguesser74
I thought I remember seeing that there was a version of the www.geocaching.com site for PDAs on the web. Is there? what is the URL? Quote Link to comment

Captain Chaoss
SWEET !! I didn't know that was available. Much better than trying to scroll back and forth across the page at the full size site. Thanks for the link. Quote Link to comment

+Sputnik 57
I spotted this unofficial WAP site link on the Florida Geocaching Association site, described as "This is a better WAP site than geocaching.com." I haven't tried it, but if the regular site isn't working for you . . . No problem getting onto the GC WAP site with my 650 using the standard Blazer browser. Quote Link to comment
+baloo&bd
No problem getting onto the GC WAP site with my 650 using the standard Blazer browser. I have tried tapping, double tapping and it just sits there looking at me on all but the log-in. I will try the other site after work. Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
I will try the other site after work. Fine, if you don't mind passing your GC.com login and password info. to whomever operates the "unofficial" site. That was always a show-stopper for me. Quote Link to comment

This one seems to work fine, now if I can figure out what is up with the original site, all will be golden. Quote Link to comment
+uncleboogie
I've used the WAP site a couple of times, works pretty good when in a bind, but mainly stick with cachmate for all my finds.....Any who, for all you treo user's here's a mapping download I found http://mytreo.net/downloads/details-915.html?Earthcomber It's nothing spectacular, haven't figured out everything, put it's pretty cool, and the best thing is....IT'S FREE!!!! Has anyone else seen this? I wonder if there is a way to download caches onto it, kinda like google earth. Quote Link to comment
+naviguesser74
I tried Earthcomber a couple of months ago. The price is right, that's for sure, but there wasn't much content. I had trouble getting it going, but, as I recall, their customer service was outstanding. I had a phone conversation with a real person. I got the impression that they were a small operation just getting off the ground. Quote Link to comment
+atascadero
Thanks for this thread. I once again learned something new! I now have it bookmarked on my PPc. Quote Link to comment

Talk with a real person, wow, that is a rare find these days. Quote Link to comment
+lindsychris
Wow, I agree-thanks for this thread! I just got the Palm T/X about a month ago, and with the cold winter months, we hadn't been caching a lot, so I wasn't keeping up on the PQs...knew there were some caches we wanted, and with the WIFI I was able to pull up the page, but it was so hard to view! I need to bookmark the wap site! Quote Link to comment
