+ScoutingWV
Just doing a search on the zip 17601 for Lancaster found these. Looks like you've got some options. Quote Link to comment
+chstress53
The Iron Furnace is actually in Cornwall http://www.cornwallironfurnace.org/visitor.htm and here are the nearby caches http://www.geocaching.com/map/getmap.aspx?...23&lon=-76.4077 By the looks of things all the caches titled Iron Valley are located in the park your class is visiting. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...ey&submit4=Find Edited February 15, 2006 by chstress53 Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
There are two Pennsylvania Historic Marker waymarks for the Cornwall Iron Furnace: Waymark 1 Waymark 2 But, interestingly, there's no entry yet in the Iron Furnace Ruins category. So, if your class field trip doesn't allow time to wander all over looking for the many nearby geocaches, you can still bring your GPS along and prepare a waymark entry for the iron furnace, and a "visited" log for the historic markers.
